Vegan News: Solios Limited Edition Watch that Supports the Make-a-Wish Foundation!

Solios Limited Edition Watch Supporting the Make-a-Wish Foundation!

Solios, a sustainable Montreal based watch company, has launched its first limited edition timepiece in collaboration with the Make-a-Wish Foundation!

The stunning watch has a blue dial, blue eco-vegan leather strap, and Make-a-Wish logo engraved on the watch. It was created in an effort to raise more than $25,000 for children with critical illnesses. Only 500 watches will be produced and for each watch sold, $50 will go directly to the foundation.

The Limited Edition Make-a-Wish watches will be produced and shipped to buyers before the end of November. So, if you’re looking for a special Christmas gift for a loved one that makes a difference in the life of a child, this is a brilliant option!

Solios’ Connection to Make-a-Wish

Solios Make-a-Wish Foundation Vegan Watch

The founders of Solios have been longtime supporters of Make-a-Wish, and have participated in their past fundraising initiatives. After successfully raising over $10,000 for the foundation in its 2019 48 hour bike ride challenge, they vowed to double their pledge in 2020. Since the bike challenge had to be cancelled this year, they got creative and commissioned a custom watch to support the charity!

About the Make a Wish Foundation

The Make a Wish Foundation In 2019, more than 86,000 children had a critical condition, affecting their health, but also their spirit and family. While childhood usually comes with its fair share of joy, innocence and beauty, these kids have to deal with worry and stress. The Make-A-Wish foundation has a single mission: to bring back some beauty and joy into these kids’ lives by granting them their dearest wish. Doing so will help build their resilience and keep them strong through the end of their medical treatments. This method has proven to be effective: according to studies, 71% of the children who saw their wish come true said that the experience helped save their lives.
