Vegan in Prague? Why Trust Me?

Years ago, I was once a tourist in Prague. So, I know how it feels to be vegan and visiting this city for the first time.

When I first got here, I was convinced Prague was not vegan friendly at all!

Every restaurant I went to was advertising nothing but pork knuckle, schnitzel, and a whole host of meaty dishes. I thought I was screwed, and I thought I’d be hungry the whole time I was in Prague. For the first few days I was sure being vegan in Prague was no fun at all.

Boy how I was wrong! Thankfully.

In reality, Prague is super vegan friendly. You just have to know where to look.

Unlike Berlin, Malmo, and other vegan friendly European cities, “regular” restaurants here do not have vegan options on their menu. It’s just not a thing here. If you want to eat vegan food in Prague you have to go to a vegan restaurant, or a vegan-friendly vegetarian or regular restaurant.

That said, there happens to be over 50 totally vegan restaurants here. It’s even been reported that Prague has the most vegan restaurants per capita in all of Europe.

So, it’s a bit of a weird thing. There are a plethora of options, and since not all of them are good (or even decent) you really do need some help wading through the crowd.

Seriously, don’t waste your precious time or money in Prague at crappy vegan restaurants. And trust me, there are some bad ones!

Let me help out a bit.

Vegan in Prague Ebook to the Rescue

View of Prague from Kampa Island

This is where the “Vegan in Prague” ebook comes in.

I have been living in Prague for well over five years. In that time, I’ve eaten out a lot, because eating out here is pretty affordable. So, I have had the chance to comb through almost all of the vegan dining options.

I like to think I have pretty good taste when it comes to food, having gone to culinary school, lived in NYC, and traveled all over the world. Plus, I’m from the South and you know we love to eat down there.

Anyway, I wrote this ebook to answer all the most important questions when it comes to being vegan in Prague.

In it you will find lists of the best places to go for vegan pizza, burgers, veganized Czech food, breakfast, and more.

Plus, the “Vegan in Prague” ebook has a very detailed breakdown of the best vegan restaurants, vegetarian restaurants, and vegan friendly restaurants around the city. There’s also a guide to vegan shopping (including grocery stores, clothing stores, shoes, and more) in this ebook.

Finally, the ebook has an entire section with the addresses and websites of every business listed in the ebook.

I promise, you won’t find a better resource out there than this ebook!
